you killed me. i love so much how you characterized hayi here, how she's kind of this cautious observer but also prone to bouts of excitement. and omg her relationship with jimin? SO GREAT. and god her crush on top!! i love how you laced it in from the very beginning when she was first ~discovering~ music
It’s a You’ll be Lee Hi type of thing, like the story where the girl gets her name stolen to go home and a dragon bleeds words into her lungs. THIS SPIRITED AWAY REFERENCE, I SEE IT
But when the stage lights catch her just right, when it is her and the microphone and a song, then there is nothing else missing.ooooof i love this so much, the language in this entire story is so sweeping and all-encompassing and you capture hayi's reservations about idoldom and how much she wants to sing and perform so well omg ( ... )
