This idea of Shinichi in a fedora has been with me for a long, loooooooooooooooong time.

There's something about the coat... or maybe just the idea of him using the cane to snag Kaito during one of his dramatic moments.

Shinichi in ratpack wardrobe is awesome. I have a washcloth with that on it along with a ratpack!Conan and have loved them to death. The old time london stuff is some newer merchandise and Shinichi with a pimp cane (among others) is soooo distracting. I love that Kaito's the cutting edge of fashion as KID in any era. :P

KID will NEVER get out of fashion. XD He belongs in Gucci's Timeless Collection or something.

Shinichi deserved an awesome hat to smirk beneath the mysteriously shadowed brim (and maybe hide yet more gadgets in/under). KID's cornered the top hat market pretty well, and fedora's are just kick ass.

Every Halloween I wait for Kaitou KID to come trick-or-treating at my door. XD

OH YEAH TOTALLY!!! I mean Hakuba has that Holmes hat, Hattori has that Baseball Cap (or something) and of course, Kaito has his KID top-hat. WHY DOESN'T SHINICHI HAVE ONE??? FAVOURITISM, I SAY! FAVOURITISM!!!

Completely valid point. Not to mention, Shinichi's got the most stubborn natural hat hair I've ever seen. He's made for them (and so goddamn sexy in them).

True. The flirt. But that kind of qualifies as both, doesn't it? Nnnn. I really didn't need the mental picture of the shounen tantei throwing gummy fish at him. Though I'll admit, my friends and I watch the latest KID arcs/movies with rainbow colored goldfish crackers as a tradition, so I probably can't talk.

Gosho needs to be convinced to draw more Shinichi, period. Conan's cute, scary, and awesome. But Shinichi's all that and rawr levels of hot. I need more. I can't wait until they animate the Holmes Apprentice storyline.
