The sky is dark but the sun is out. Go figure.

Sunday's Dead Zone marathon was really great. I got to catch up on all the episodes I hadn't seen. Plus, I was bedridden from an all-day-long photography stint on Saturday. Won't be doing that again anytime soon.

Went to Hawthorn with Grandma yesterday. Not very exciting, but an excursion none the less. And, seriously, if you ever want or need to lose faith in humanity, sit in rush-hour traffic (doesn't matter where). People sure do suck, drivers especially.

I'm excited about the possibility of a job at Baxter. Dad told me the lady in charge of hiring is on vacation for the rest of the week, so I must wait patiently.

Had a precalc test last night. I think I got three wrong. Hopefully, that's it, though. I didn't study for the test because the class is so easy, and I surprised myself when I couldn't figure out this one problem. Pero, es la vida.

Season premieres start next week. JAG's should be a really good one - poor Bud! - and The West Wing - c'mon. A two-hour season finale that I'd miss anyway because of school and... we'll be in Texas. Maybe we'll be at Meggie's or the hotel by then so I can watch. Otherwise I'd have to wait until Sunday night when we get back.

I have lost steam on the story I have dubbed "Beforemath." (I love that title for some reason). I think it's because the pen I was using died on the train ride back from visiting Megan at NP, and I haven't been able to find a pen like it.

Maybe I'll get one today because I'm so very tempted to go to K-Mart, which has this for the lowest price I've seen.
