"I feel the earth...move...under my feet"

The entire house is shaking. My house is shaking. I want to emphasize that, because it's important. They're digging up the very ground next door (God knows why) and aside from being loud and annoying-sounding, it's making my house shake.

I have a week of freedom before school starts. College. CLC. Then I *must* get a job, and I will be more of a grown-up. Icky, but inevitable.

I took Eric to the Summer Days parade yesterday. Antichrist was still leading the band, despite the notable handicap of having graduated, and her mommyh was right there with her. Ack. I saw Jeff, though, and waved to Bert, who almost tripped. I'm going to miss Bertino.

I don't know how or why, but I'm into The Dead Zone. I really enjoyed the book, which I think is more surprising of me because I thought Stephen King? It's gonna be all clown-from-It and psycho-fan-from-Misery weird and deathy. But it was good. So yeah. I watched it last night with Eric and Josh. They liked it. Mason watched it a little, but he was still on his Emily high.

Am still tired. And still sore. Don't know why. And I really should take Grandma's car in for a test... we'll see, I
guess.
