The Cubs are in the postseason?!? This is the first time since 1907/1908 that they've done that two years in a row! Here's hoping they actually make it to the World Series this time... and win. That would be an amazing welcome back present.
Saw "Tropic Thunder" today. It was pretty funny. Outrageous and ridiculous of course, but not bad at all.
Tomorrow starts my last week of work. Training the new hires, potluck lunch on Thursday, drinks at the weekend, Spain on Tuesday. Whooo!
I just tried to watch the Cubs game online but they wanted me to subscribe. I should have known better than to expect MLB to let me see things for free.
The big brown spider was back last night - totally caught me off guard, but I managed to kill him this time around. Yay! Such relief. I hope there isn't a spider's lair somewhere hidden in my room.
