Far Surpassing My Weekend Goal

Mar 16, 2008 12:26

I must have had some successful dream on Friday night because I woke up on Saturday morning with the solution to my baby-framing problem and wrote the complete episode outline before I even ate breakfast (yummy blueberry muffins my parents sent from home, but I digress).

Then I eventually made my way to Tiki and ended up writing the teaser. I took a break from it last night and talked with my mom and Eric and watched "Have I Got News for You" and "Love Soup" and some Daily Shows & Colbert Reports from early March (which finally downloaded and finally got onto my iPod).

Today I've written almost all of Act I and I'm only stopping now because of a hand cramp; I'm writing by hand in this really spiffy inexpensive A4 refill notebook, which is narrow-lined and is basically perfect for writing script-format. It's also cold and raining outside, with either sounds of far-off thunder or just planes going to/from Heathrow. Other than maybe some laundry and eventually lunch and dinner, I have no plans for leaving my bed today. Perfecto!

I'm looking forward to my first-and-only nice, long Easter weekend. No work on Good Friday OR Easter Monday. Sweet! Plus, "Lars and the Real Girl" opens this Friday.

Also, I should probably figure out when the UK springs ahead so I'm not an hour late to work one day...
