A Quick Update from Work
My co-receptionist is on holiday for a week, and my boss is working from home today, so it's a bit quiet this morning. Which is not to say I haven't been busy, because I have been. There are three other lawyers here and my inbox has been busy for weeks now; as soon as I clear it out it gets stacked up again.
It's my little brother's 20th birthday today. We're all getting so old! He just recently (i.e. this week) got a motorcycle, which worries me, but what can you do? I miss him like crazy though, as well as the rest of my family. I wish they could visit me. I know it's already mid-July, but December seems too far away.
Ah, work just got a little busy. And now it's almost lunchtime. Yes!
I'm going to go see Harry Potter this weekend. And maybe do something wtih my hair. I feel so... blah. I also have to do grocery shopping, as there's not much more than a jar of peanut butter in the cabinet. Money's going to be a little tight this month (when is it not?), and that $100 I had to pay to put my loans in forbearance didn't help matters.
I'd love to travel again, just around England for now, but it'll be a while.
I'm feeling pretty good, though. I'm alive, I'm in London, I've got a job I like with co-workers I enjoy, and life is an adventure. Now if only I could figure out how to find a boyfriend...
