I watched the West Wing ep 100,000 Airplanes last night with Mason. It got me in the mood to write a bunch o' Sam angst. And the cool part about this angst would be that some of it could tie in with the angst I'm feeling, and then I'd be exorcising some personal demons.
I have to go back into the Gates of Hell tomorrow, because one of the scholarship applications I turned in today needed an official high school transcript from incoming freshman, and I forgot and the deadline is tomorrow. Of the three CLC scholarships I applied for, the essay for that one was the best, and incomplete submissions won't be considered. Must march right back into GCHS and fork over another dollar for yet another transcript.
I've been reading
It's Been a Good Life, which is sort-of Isaac Asimov's autobiography but not - his wife collected his works and added a few of her own words in brackets. I like what I'm reading. I also have been going library crazy. I have books from Lake Villa that are research for a West Wing fic I'm going to do, and I just went to the CLC library today and got a slew of things. Ah, the dog days of summer, filled with air conditioning and reading.
Hehe. Really, I'm not as crazy as I sound lately. Honest.
