Checking in from AZ
Well, I just stupidly lost my long entry, so here's a shorter version.
I'm in hot, desert-y Prescott Valley (an hour or so outside of Phoenix). I've got sunburn. We've been to historic downtown Prescott, and the Prescott Mall. We've also been to Sonic twice (yay for slushies! Why aren't they around Chicago?!?) Cory hasn't been feeling well, so we took him to the doctor today. Nicole feels bad that we haven't really done any sightseeing, but I told her I really came to see her, not the Grand Canyon or anything. Nicole, her fiance Ramiro, baby Cory, and I are going to the fair tonight. Then we might go see Jerome and/or Sedona tomorrow before my flight.
Gosh. I'm going home tomorrow night. That went fast.
Also, I got waaay too much of a kick out of drinking Arizona tea in Arizona. I'm such a nerd.
