"Attention everyone, today is Mykale Hicks' 21st Birthday..."
so... i have 20 minutes to update before i go and study all night long.
well i had some plans for this weekend. not too many plans though. i was suppose to get this tattoo on my back that i have been waiting to get for a long time now. i don't have much money these days but i was going to find it from somewhere and somehow. well after a long long rough week as i have explained from my last post, i put plans on hold due to lack of time and energy to design the tattoo to my best abilities. you never realize just how much patience one must have in order to draw to their best abilities. at this point, i can't even finish a picture. but anyway, it is just going to have to wait some time. i got a little money for my birthday and that is at least one plus.
saturday was suppose to be my day to study all day and night. i ended up getting up kind of late, eating, and driving out to my aunts to get the cat and my life that was packed up. by the time i got back, i was out again with rachel and greg to go to the art sanctuary, local band, and bondage show. i wasn't too sure what to expect, but i guess i forgot just how long those things last. anyway, we got there at 8 and the doors weren't open, at least the front doors weren't. so we went to the back doors and got in with no problem. we didn't pay, but it wasn't quite the plan. oh well. all we did was get carded and that was it. so DJ Kaleidoscope Kim was spinning and i must say she is an awesome DJ. there was hardly a song she played that i didn't like. she almost made me get the holy ghost. we went upstairs to look at the art sanctuary which had some nice things. greg's sister had a few art pieces up. that was cool. moving on with the night, we ended up seeing sheila and alex at the show and later sara and her new guy. the most noticeable thing at the show was all the bondage furniture and instruments. we later got to see things put to the test, and it was hard to watch sometimes. they didn't just whip one person for a couple of minutes, oh no. it was more like an hour or even more. they were breaking skin, and bruising people up pretty bad. but still everyone's eyes were hooked to the pain being adminstered to these people. at 12, greg bought me a beer. after i finished that, rachel bought me a beer. we went home and they bought me a hard lemonade. first time i have drank in almost a year and people are trying to get me shit faced.
today, i went to hometown buffet with my grandmother, aunt, uncle, and their two kids. it was all right. the food was good. my grandmother had them announce it was my birthday over the speakers to the whole resturant. that would be the title of my entry today. my aunt was trying to hook me up with some guy that my uncle works with. he's a manager, has a car, and education, clean cut, his own bank account, and blah, blah, blah. i quickly brushed that off. i am definitely not going to have my family members hook me up if anyone for that matter.
so that was my weekend. and i am over my time. now i must be productive when i have had a whole weekend of nonproductiveness. :) if i can hold myself together, i will have a pretty interesting week as well, but not in a bad way. so until next time.
