oh my god! two posts in one day! well, this just couldn't wait, it was too damned funny. head over to this site for a fun romp through finnish sci-fi. appearantly it's the first of its kind, and took 7 years to make. it's a great parody of star trek and babylon 5. for fans of either show, this movie does wonders at poking fun of the two sci-fi legends. i was impressed by the special effects. for a nearly no budget film, it had some very, very, impressed effects. the gun blasts were quite real, and computer animation was wonderful. the acting was hard to judge, what with the dialouge all being in finnish (it has subtitles, don't worry.) but facially they were quite campy, and did the melodrama very well. all in all, it was well worth the download, which is free. you can also buy the dvd, which may be worth it. i know i may actually watch this film again, just to see what little peices i missed.
