Who got some new bling from the Easter bunny? .......
So, happy belated Easter to all my peepsters out there.
The biggest news of the week came Saturday night...when I talked to Christy and found out that she and Travis are now engaged!! I was driving home from work at the time, so luckily I didn't wreck, but this is definitely exciting!!! Christy's already crowned me the maid of honor, so that's something I'm really looking forward to!! Travis was dressed in a bunny suit when he proposed, so that was the creative proposal that Christy was hoping for... Plus, you know it's true love when your man is willing to dress up in a bunny suit in front of a group of women. That pretty much says he loves Christy so much he'd do anything for her. Christy will never forget it, I'm sure. How awesome is that... And her ring is to die for--it's the most gorgeous one I've ever seen, and she most definitely deserves it. Christy, I am soooooo incredibly happy for you! ! ! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, Easter was decent enough, nothing much aside from an ordinary day, just more food than usual. I spent a couple hours over at Bryon's then came home in time for the dinner my mom fixed...well, partially fixed, anyway. I guess KFC's side dishes will complete any meal in a pinch. The Easter bunny left me a card and $40, so that was definitely better than candy. Besides, I got enough candy to last me until next Easter in the basket that Bryon made for me, and with what his mom gave me.
Let's see, what else is there about the weekend... Oh yeah, Bryon shaved his head. I hate it and he knows I hate it, but that just seems to encourage him to make me hate it more. Maybe this was harsh, but I told him he looks like a cancer patient who's had too much chemo or radiation. Basically, I just don't find the shaved look to be attractive on him. I don't like excess body hair, but when it comes to hair on your scalp, that is a necessity. Oh well, at least it will grow back, that is, if he doesn't shave it off again.
