So, I had a great weekend.  Despite having to work Saturday and Sunday, I can say it ended up great overall.

Sunday after work, I had plans to meet everyone I used to work with at the other store at 7pm, at Tumbleweed.  Eska called me Thursday and asked if she could ride with me since she works just right across the street from Oxmoor. There were some issues with me trying to find this place she was talking about, getting lost, etc.  When she said "across the street" I automatically assumed "across Shelbyville Road", however, it was more like down a side street that was across from the other side of the mall... But after that was resolved, we were on our way.

Brooke and Kayla didn't show up-- Kayla had to work (she's at Meijer now, of all places!) and nobody heard from Brooke, period, so it was Dolly, Krista, Eska, Lena & Harry, and me.  I'm glad Eska invited Lena, because I hadn't even thought of it (Lena is an elderly lady that worked at the store for several years and left a couple months after I started working there, and she's really sweet and makes awesome snickerdoodle cookies, and Harry is her husband).  Anyway, we were at Tumbleweed until 10:00 that night, the only people left.  We'd just sat there talking, catching up, reminiscing, etc.  I've been communicating with pretty much everyone except Lena and Brooke since we closed either through e-mail or phone, but it was much better getting to see them in person.  Dolly had even brought us some stuff she'd baked (banana nut muffins & some chocolate cake/brownies), since when I'd talked to her last week, I'd expressed my disapproval over the fact that Sandy doesn't do such things as bake cookies, brownies, or anything like that... haha.

After leaving Tumbleweed, Krista, Eska and I went bowling; Dolly, Lena, and Harry didn't particularly want to join us for that, so they went home.  The bowling alley was open until midnight, so that's pretty much when we left.  It was really fun, I had a great time.  I really enjoyed everything about seeing them all again.  I miss all of them so much.  I guess didn't realize just how much I enjoyed working with them until the last few weeks before we closed, and as I started working where I am now...which I really don't like so much, but maybe after this summer, maybe being a CNA is all I'll need.
