Last final on Monday...
...Graduation on Friday and Saturday!
It's crazy exciting but sad as well. The true definition of bittersweet. I'm sad to be leaving but am definitely looking forward to the future.
Plans after graduation:
1 week at home
3 weeks in Thailand
3 days in Taiwan
5 days in Japan
1 week in Taiwan
then...my 6 month internship at Disney Consumer Products!
Disney Consumer Products (DCP) is the business segment of The Walt Disney Company that extends the Disney brand to merchandise ranging from apparel, toys, home décor, books and magazines to interactive games, food and beverages, stationery, electronics and animation art. This is accomplished through the work of DCP's various lines of business: Disney Toys, Disney Apparel, Accessories, and Footwear, Disney Food, Health, and Beauty, Disney Home, Disney Publishing, Disney Stationery, Disney Interactive Studios, Baby Einstein, and www.DisneyShopping.com. The Disney Store, which debuted in 1987, also falls under DCP, through stores currently owned and operated by unaffiliated third parties under licensing agreements in North America and Japan, and wholly owned stores in Europe.
Specifically, I will be working in the Home division:
Offering items for infants, toddlers and kids, to tweens, teens and adults, the Disney Home & Infant group brings the imagination, fun, inspiration and happy memories of Disney into every room of a consumer's home. From home furnishings and décor, collectibles and fine art to infant soft goods, bath items, feeding and travel gear, Disney Home & Infant creates compelling products that touch consumer's lives everyday.
So yep...that's what I'll be up to. I'm going to be moving back home (West Los Angeles) so I will be around :)
