HA! "Legend of Merle McQoddy"! I already thought "Hey, that's just like pasamcquoddy from Pete's Dragon".
And lo & behold! AN ENTIRE EPISODE AS AN HOMAGE TO ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHILDHOOD MOVIES OF ALL TIME!
Oh. I've just IMDB'd Pete's Dragon, and omg, JIM DALE [aka "The Narrator"] was the travelling pharmacist I LOVED?!??! OMG!
Good lord, I always did have good taste in voices when I was a kid. ;)
