okay, so i had a meeting last night with a lady from bath where i'll be studying in the fall and a whole bunch of alumni students who went. it was so great. i'm so excited. all the students were incredibly enthusiastic. they all told me i was going to love it, they all told me greta stories, places to go, how's he best way to go about cooking with your flat mates, shopping, traveling, etc. a couple of them liked bath so much, they're applying to grad schools out there because they said it felt like a second home. i really just want to be there right now. like skip the end of this semester, skip the summer, whatever. i just want to go to bath. i'm so excited.
my course preferences are due at the end of this week. the exciting part is i'm applying for a creative writing tutorial. which is working with a professor (usually from oxford) either one-on-one or with two to three students. we go hang out once a week in their study and they help us with a project of our choice. i heard it's really intense (it counts as 8 credits, 2 credits in HWS system) and costs extra, but the students all said they're amazing. i might not get in, but still, if i did, that would be so great.
but if i don't, there's like sixteen other literature courses i want to take in bath anyways. there's so many specifics there and things that i couldn't be taught quite the same here. it's exciting, refreshing, and overall i just can't wait. and all the students said none of them had a bad course and they didn't know of any of their flatmates who did either.
so yea. excited. i guess that's the summation of this entry.
