Day 10 as Nursing Student
7:14 am - Left home
8:20ish am - Arrived at school; went to my locker; crammed for Medication Calculation Exam
9:00 am - Concepts class: Med exam
9:50 am - Break
10:00 am - Filled out a Global Connections Survey
10:30 am - Concepts class resumed; lecture over nursing history
11:50 am - Lunch break; went to my locker; chatted with friends; went to the Career Fair (which was really cool!); studied for Assessment quiz
2:00 pm - Assessment class: Quiz! During lecture, I struggled to stay awake during the first hour. After that, I was awake, and it was interesting. Lecture was over the assessment of skin/hair/nails and lymph/neck/head/face. Then we had a break somewhere...
4:20 pm - Class over; went to computer lab to check my email and Blackboard; printed out my lab results for my immunization record; submitted my lab results to Student Life Office; went to my locker
4:45 pm - Worked out at the gym for 1 hour and 45 minutes doing yoga, stretching, meditation and breathing exercises, weights, the elliptical, and the treadmill. I was doing the hills on the elliptical and the treadmill! Whew, that was hard! I feel great and more energetic!
6:30 pm - Left the gym; snacked on fruits and Milano cookies! Yum! Left a few phone calls for people.
7:15 pm until now - I'm still here at school, but I'm in the computer lab. Just printed out some notes for one of my classes.
7:41 pm as I'm typing this. Logging off to go home! It's getting dark!
