One True Pairing Ship: i don't OTP for this series, but perhaps slightly one-sided muraki/oriya?Oriya knows it doesn't mean a thing, but still he waits; and though his guest is infrequent, at least he does sometimes arrive.
Canon Ship: is tsuzuki/hisoka canon? was that one girl/terazuma pairing canon? both of these are kind of sweet, i guess.He can't escape his partner's presence -- beneath the overlay of cheer or fear or any other emotion of the moment, Hisoka's empathy registers a wounded white noise -- so the least he can do is be a different sort of reminder, each frown and eye-roll and exasperated sigh proclaiming despite everything: i'm here, i'm here, i'm here.
"If this happens I'll stab my eyes out with a spork" Ship: hahaha, not that the manga is even running anymore. -_-;; i don't know. any pairing involving one of the gushoushin, perhaps.They had to admit that the feathers lent a certain flair to the proceedings.
"You are one sick bastard" Ship: muraki/his half-brother.Muraki presses his hands to the glass, wants something to shatter -- obsession, dedication, a single-minded pursuit: what can they call this but love?

"Makes no canon sense but why the hell not" Ship: watari/tatsumi? they could set up a kind of military-industrial complex, with tatsumi covertly funding watari's efforts it might be cute, i don't know.For all of Watari's seemingly chaotic tendencies, Tatsumi knows this much: science is rooted, ultimately, in numbers.

"When all is said and done" Ship: totally meifu/sakura, okay.Even after he's gone, Tsuzuki thinks, the sakura will still be in bloom; it is a comforting thought.

YnM is all about the Muraki/Hisoka/Tsuzuki it calls to yoooouuu and the ANGST, so the other possibilities are refreshing, especially Muraki/Oriya (the attraction being precisely the one-sidedness) and Muraki/Saki (ditto for the sickness).

what scares me is the way people seem to equate stockholm syndrome with OMG TRU LUV. ._.
haha, for a moment there i wasn't sure if you were joking re: watari/tatsumi. i seem to recall lots of watari/tatsumi fic in the fandom.
