I knew nothing about this. But I'm convinced. ::sighs at inability to Netflix it::

Hee! I got to see a couple of episodes (I think at B and K's) and it was very, very, very funny! Just reading K's post made me laugh again!

Ghandi has ADD and he also "rocks the g-spot" - what more can I say? It must be seen!

Not that you can tell, but geepgal is just quoting all the songs here. She loves the Ghandi songs. If they'd ever made licensed merchandise, I would have immediately bought her a "G-Spot rocks the g-spot" tshirt.

I checked netflix before commenting or I'd have pimped it...but yeah. I wasn't surprised they didn't have it.

Like I said, it's a Canadian show. It seems there's a lot of gov't sponsorship of tv programming up there, particularly in the (weird-ass) animation arena. I think there's a whole channel (teletoon is it?) of animation, so there are "grownup" animation shows. MTV aired maybe 5 episodes of Clone High in the US like 7 years ago. Luckily that was during a time when we actually watched MTV (remember Fear? ahh, Fear). It was like stumbling on a secret gem -- we were so excited, then they totally stopped airing them. Admittedly, the first handful of episodes are the best IMO, but wow, such a tease MTV.

So we had to buy the DVDs. Le sigh, except now it means I can have a marathon whenever I want. I usually hate marathons, but if I start watching Clone High, it's nearly impossible to stop. Hmm, perhaps there'll be some free time this weekend...

Youtube is verboten here at work, but I remember seeing a Cat Came Back animated short on Nickelodeon when I was a kid. It made me terrifically sad. Apparently Canadian animation elicits strong emotions. (Admittedly, sometimes that emotion is "WTF?".)
