Summertime.. & The Livin Is Easy.... lol :-)

Hey hey hey... It's feels like an LJ day. But what the hell do I have to say?

Well, in a word.. BLAZINGFRIGGINHOT pretty much sums things up here in Cali. I suppose you people elsewhere are suffering also but hey... go ahead and die of thirst so I can use your water to cool my sweaty butt crack. I'm kidding.. here, have an ice cube on me. Ooooh yea baby rub it on those nipples.. hahaha... rain or shine.. still a horny perv.

Ahhh... yesterday it was like 104 here. Cooler actually, than surrounding towns which hit closer to the 110's. Today nearby Ukiah is supposed to hit 111 degrees. Poor redneck sons o bitches cursed with livin there. Nothing brings out the sympathy in me like the thought of redneck sweat. Uhhh did I just say that? Anywho... moving on.

Yesterday I worked my ass off in the scortching sun. Well not my whole ass, I still have like half a cheek left the last time I checked. Luckily I had an excuse to close up the slaveyard early. After all one mustn't let the mundane task of obtaining eating/rent/gas money interfere with things when one has a very important meeting with WEEN & The Flaming Lips over yonder in the much cooler enviroment of Berkleys Greek Theater. Which is where I spent what can only so far be described as well... the nicest evening of the summer.Really, the sun went down and it pretty much was a perfect summer night. Ween played great. Nothing flashy... just Ween. Which is enough for me cause I like Ween. Not familiar with the weenderful weentastic Weensters? Go check out there website at http://www.ween.com/ to get a feel for thier groove.

The Flaming Lips, which I'll admit, when I bought the tickets, mainly to see Ween, I'd never heard of. (Or mabey heard of but never paid any attention to) In fact, curious as to what time I'd be driving back home that evening I went to thier site and downloaded some of thier songs and watched thier videos the day I ordered tickets. Quite frankly, I figured it'd be an early night as I didn't see or hear anything that impressed or interested me too much. But to thier credit I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how much I ended up enjoying thier show. It was a good show and had a positive energy / message - feel about it. Sporting an array of dancing Santa Clause's and writhing girlies clad in alien miniskirt suits. (what more could a guy want than writhing alien girlies in miniskirts) Okay video effects, and lots of streamer & confetti cannons and giant balloons. ( I know, it sounds like a kids birthday party at Chuck E Cheese Pizza Parlor) But what can I say? The show really made it possible to tolerate what they kind of lacked in the tunes department. Even the Teletubbies made an appearance. Hey how many people can say they saw teletubbies in a live venue? Luckily the main front man for the FLips entrance inside a giant plastic "space" bubble which he rolled out in all over the wave of hands in the audience caught my interest long enough to give the rest of the show a chance. I liked em. But I won't be buying thier CD's anytime soon unless they cough up a little more substance musicly. Whatever that means.. Hey everyones a critic right? ha. Those who can't do.. critisize those who can. It's the way of the world.
For a taste of thier fluffjams find and listen to thier song, "She Don't Use Jelly" . You'll know what I mean then.

So anyway, that's what I've been up to as of late. More work today. Big fun. NOT.
Oh well, eating isn't optional dammit. Stay cool kiddies. Peace out. :-)
