Kris sat in companionable silence with Adam and thought about Adam’s “type”. It was apparent from Brad’s comments, Adam liked being the “man” in the relationship. Would that mean Kris would be relegated into being the “girl”? Kris had an idea how gay sex worked and wasn’t sold on being the catcher. It looked painful and he didn’t see a mutual benefit.

Finally! Now we know the real reason behind Kris's statement and it has nothing to do with being a thoughtless jerk or needing to be drunk to have sex with Adam. I was getting so frustrated with him being vilified in the previous chapter, LMAO. But this bolded part totally made me laugh.

This was sweet. Funny how when I started reading the story, I thought Kris was such an asshole but now I feel like he's just confused and misunderstood. (Brad is the a-hole in this story, IMO ;) I love Nick, though!)

If Adam hasn't figured out by now that Kris DOES want him but this being gay is just all new to him then it's never going to work. I'm sure there will be angst for these boys as they can't seem to just be happy with each other (lol) so hopefully Kris will try harder to say what he really means and Adam will be a little bit more patient/understanding and THEY NEED TO TALK TALK TALK INSTEAD OF ASSUME cuz ASSUMING MAKES AN ASS OUT OF U (Adam) AND ME (Kris)! xD
