And so it begins. Wordcount: 1693 as of 1:45 AM last night. Aftiel is surprisingly frailer than I ever thought him to be; disaster and time have worn him thin. I also desperately want to write Zadkiel, but I must resist, because he is a side-character, even moreso than Gyr and Kel. I haven't written this much in one sitting in... Man, it must be half a year now. It felt good.
