Sometimes, even the spellchecker isn't your friend
We have this one lady at work who's a bit of a spaz. Nice and all but incredibly disorganised and halfway out of touch with reality. I do some editing for her presentations, and they tend to be filled with typos, missing letters etc.
Last week I was proofreading yet another presentation for some company about where their employees got their information and support. One of the bullets was obviously meant to read "vertaisryhmät", peer groups in English.
Instead she'd hit one wrong key and the word was "vertaistyhmät". Peer morons in English.
I'll leave it to you to imagine exactly how tempted I was to leave it unedited. *grin*
