I like this: Scandinavian redditors - what is the main difference between your countries respective cultures?

My favourite comment: It can be looked upon like this: Norway has a lot of stereotypes for people from different parts of the country. People from different parts "do not like each other". Once we leave the country to go to Sweden or Denmark, all of Norway is great and we defend each part of the country in the same way. Norwegians have a lot of stereotypes for the Danes and Swedes. Once we leave Scandinavia, however, we love all of Scandinavia and will defend our "brothers" with great vigour.

Geographically, Iceland and Finland aren't part of Scandinavia but culturally this very much stands, in my mind.
