Happy Birthday, Adam
Adam Lambert turns 29 today, 29 January 2011. To celebrate, he asked his fans to donate money to Charity: Water, an organisation that helps provide clean drinking water to developing nations.
Adam made his announcement through his official fan club on 14 January, with the original goal of 29 000 dollars but Adam's fans, being what they are, broke 30 000 dollars overnight. Adam responded by tweeting:
“Ok New goal: 290,000 by the 29th!!! Let's give people in need clean water!!!”
Well, we didn't quite get there but the total is currently $137,140.08 :)
The thing about Adam's fans is, we care (link courtesy of spikedluv). And Adam's ability to bring that out in his fans is probably the thing I love about him the most.
