I've finally gotten around to painting my bedroom. I have a lilac purple wall (Valspar's "Lilac Mist"), with Benjamin Moore's "Linen White" trim. The other three walls and trim will also be Linen White. I'm just waiting for Mother Dearest to get up so I can drag the bookcase out of the bedroom so I'll have the room to paint another wall. After that wall dries, I can move the bed and have room to paint the last two walls. After those walls dry, I'll have to primer the door and door jamb and wait until next week for the primer to cure so I can paint those Linen White.
I picked up some Dylon brand fabric dye in China Blue to dye the pretty eyelet fabric. I plan on making a pretty dress to attend a friend's wedding. I couldn't find shoes that were appropriate, so I decided to dye the dress instead. How much more classic can you get than china blue, cream, and brown?
I'll have to try my hand at making these:
Meyer Lemon Macaroons I'm also going to start looking at designs to pitch to Mother Dearest for her sitting room. I'm thinking beachy; watery blues, driftwood grey, and cream.
I also want to make a shadow box with the picture of my grandfather and I, and my Junior Ranger badge.
