I finally got my Kizuna manga that I ordered over at amazon.  I had to have gotten at least 5 different emails from them with adjusted shipping dates since it keep changing all the time.  I compared it to the Be Beautiful version and I do agree the translations are wildly different.  People were making a huge fuss about BB editing but from what I could tell also all of the two editions were identical except for the two missing pages with Kai/Masu kiss which I do admit was adorable and there was very little need to cut it out.  BB printing is heavier and actually a bigger size, so I can't say wow DMP version is better except translation wise.  I also prefer BB typesetting for the most part over DMP although that is a personal choice.  Will I buy the future volumes if released?  Yes because I'm a collector and I want the last couple of volumes and want consistency especially since I love Kizuna.  Do I think it is worth the double dip?  No not unless you really love the manga or haven't bought it yet.

I posted this over at my other journal but I thought I would post it here since there are a lot of yaoi fans that are my friends. I downloaded this years ago but when my computer crashed I couldn't find it anymore to download. I was super excited when I seen it up for auction at Yahoo Japan since it is long OOP.  Private Truth was my favorite j-rock song until I discovered Gackt.
