yeah...neglecting would be a good word
Yeah, I know its been a LONG while. This year has been pretty crazy so far. Happy New Year by the way, and while I'm at it, Merry Christmas. So now, let me start on whats been going on. My good buddy Brad Cox is a local Atlanta musician who has special access in a recording studio and is going to help me make a 3 song demo cd in a few weeks. I'm so stoked! Its going to be my songs I've written (Turn, Basturd of Venus, and an untitled track) and I've chosen melodies for all 3 that he and his band are going to learn and lay them down in the studio. I'm really really excited and I've been waiting for that forever! Now all I need to do is find my own band so I can start doing these songs (among the others I've written) at clubs. I'm really started to see some of my dreams coming true soon. I keep waiting on the day, where they will all be in reach and I will know finally that I've made it. I've achieved everything I've wanted in life. To be onstage, singing my songs, people buying my cds, visiting my website, seeing my video on t.v., people actually being inspired by me. I want to do that, inspire people, and have people relate to my music because I know there are so many little problems we go through that we just can't get around but with a little bit of faith we can pull through anything. I want to help that in people. To see a brighter side to every situation.
Anyway, Jennifer just moved into an apartment in Milledgeville with Candace and Beth (from Wesley House) and they have one other girl living there as well. It seems as though Jennifer and I have been concentrating more on our own lives now rather than our lives always revolving on "What big thing are we going to do this weekend Jennifer" and spending all of our extra time stuck up eachother's ass. I've been doing alot of other things like this weekend I drove by myself to Atlanta to visit my friends Katie and Molly. I met Katie from the No Doubt fan forum so we have alot in common obviously. We had a fun weekend.
Okay so anyway, I'm cutting off here just because I'm sleepy and the night isn't getting any younger. I will have more to talk about on the next entry.
