Waiting for something untypical...
Aaah, ok well where do I start??? I've been really really busy so I haven't had time to update on my current happenings. Okay, so I tried out for American Idol. What a crock of shh...ok ok sorry I won't say it. Lets put it this way. I get to tryouts at 9pm Saturday night, was number 817 in line, had to spend the night outside of Centenial Park on COLD sidewalk pavement with Jennifer and a line of over 2,000 strangers, to have the people come back at 8am and tell us to come back Monday morning at 8am. So I had to take the day off Monday, drive all the way back with the same outfit, get there at 9am, and I didn't get to audition till 5:30pm. I couldn't eat those 2 days. I don't really think I was nervous, it was more like anxiety. I was so ready to just get it over with. Well, I finally did, and I didn't make it. That a-hole of a man didn't even let me hardly sing my song. The song that I chose and practiced over and over again I couldn't really get to sing all of it in 30 seconds, so therefore, I didn't get to hit my high notes. I bet if I did get to those notes I might've had a chance, but he only heard me sing the simple beginning part. I'm kicking me self because I should've gone straight to the high parts of the song, oh well, I'm kinda glad I didn't make it. There are so many more oppurtunities out there waiting for me. I want to make it in a rock band anyway, not as a TV pop star, ya know? I just wanted the recognition.
Anyway, my car STILL isn't finished. Those freaks have had my car in the shop for 2 weeks now and aren't even halfway finished. How about that? I better be getting it back soon because I really need my baby back!!! LOL, gimmee my baby back, baby back, baby back.
Hmm, lets see, what else?? OH, I still haven't talked to Sam. Last time I talked to him it didn't go well. He was all talking about his plans of leaving for the Keys, and then moving to New Jersey some time next year. Ya know it kills me, its like he doesn't even consider my feelings, and as long as we've been friends you think he'd be more open about things. I just want to hit him upside the head to come back down to reality.
Well, on the brighter side, Halloween was a blast! I dressed up as Gwen Stefani from the "Hey Baby" video, platinum blonde wig and everything, and went to Wesley House for a party. It was soo much fun, it was at a farm and there was a bonfire and a hayride. I won best costume which I thought was great. I won because everyone thought I had a stunning resembalance to Gwen, which really flattered me saying as how I freaking LOVE her and wish I was her, lol. I'll have some pictures up of "Amber as Gwen" as soon as I get them developed. Ok, thats it for now!!! *muah*
