Seller EBAY woes..HELP!

Sep 14, 2008 01:53

An ebayer bought shoes from me on sept 1st. I sent them out on the 4th.
I am in brooklyn and they are in wyoming.
I offered insurance for an extra fee and they didn't pay for it, so I just sent the package out standard.
Now they have been asking me for a tracking number and the PO didn't give me one when I sent it!

I have looked over my receipt over and over and punched in any #s that might be tracking and I have found nothing.

I have proof I sent it to them in the receipt which shows a package went to their zipcode on the day I stated to them I sent it.

I kindly asked them to wait a few more days, to see if it would come before I would refund and they filed a dispute on me promptly, without even warning me!

This urgency to screw me over seems intense.
I have been nice about everything and apologetic.
I gave them my personal email for direct contact, and assured them I would work with them to settle this ASAP.

After trying ot log into paypal and finding i had a DISPUTE (My acount is kinda locked) I told them I would refund because I felt bullied.
But then after thinking about it, I have told them I am delaying the refund action, because I would like to talk to ebay, paypal and the PO to see what I can do to find out all options, before I proceed.

There is no proof they haven received it.

Am I getting screwed over?
Does any of this sound fishy to you?
My intuition says something is strange here.

The have some negative feedback on their account thru ebay.
