mmm...amaretto sours...
so last night kenny and i kind of randomly thought about heading in to the city. but then, i thought to myself..well, if we want to head in that direction, why not just go to queens, and see sam, and her hubby. so, that's what we did.
drove to woodside. got there around 10ish i believe. met up with sam (who i haven't seen in probably 2 years) and her husband. we talked for a bit, remenisced, went to a pub down the street from their place called saints and sinners, had a few drinks, talked some more. and generally, had a good layed back time. discussed everything from people, to school, to sports, to sex, to politics. i love sam. and now that i know how close she is to the woodside station, it'll be easier for me to go out and visit her. i hope i get to do that again soon.
got payed today. thank goodness. ps. i hate taxes. yucky. take so much out of my paycheck. oh well. whatever money i did make, i really really needed. and i'm working about 20 hours this week. so that's good. i only worked about 10 this week. so..the next pay check won't be...great...but anything helps.
i'm almost finished with my stonybrook application. i'm gonna tell my parents that i'm gonna be a sociology major with a minor in journalism. i think that'll work out best for me. i printed out a thing with opportunities for soc. majors, and i liked what i saw, a lot. and a lot of it had a big interest in journalism. so, yeah. that's how that goes.
i'm working 11-7 tomorrow. nice full day. supposedly the dm might do a stop by, see how things are going, and i'm denim as usual. so i have to do a good job. get in maryann's good graces. she said i did a really good job today. whatever. i folded down womens. lol, helped a few customers. no big deal.

i drew a bit the other night. worked on old english lettering. i was pleasently surprised.
and. that's about it for now.
i need to plan another trip to boston. this time i want to bring kenny.
