I'm home after the usual cross-country train ride. It's 8pm: I've made 2 weeks of kitty food, washed up and watched the raw chicken traces go down the drain, ate a bah kwa and a durian seed, hugged my big cats so they don't forget who I am, said hello to my parents (who came back from shopping at Tampines Mall, so cute), took my vitamin E pill, drank a lot of water. I can't seem to drink enough water at F's. He has a bottle shortage. The bottles are suspicious.
I've taken the first job offer. Now that it's decided I'm no longer a crazy monkey walking on hot coals; it's back to preparations, like clothes. I need more clothes. Three pairs of pants sound a bit short for alternation. Thursday I head down and sign the papers, and then it's GO the Monday after. Exciting.
I hope this job doesn't become a kind of administrative drudgeon. Does this word exist? Ha, no. I was thinking both drudgery and dungeon.
