sad news
While working on the holidays of the gilded frame, some gal came to the door looking for Ed..I don't hear that well and I didn't recognize her, so I kept working...but the sad news is, she is the step daughter in law of our neighbor, who was killed on a motor cyle this morning (Ed told me after she left...like wow, was I rude...just plodding away on my frame...) His wife is in Reno or someplace...and I have played tennis with him for years...rather a shock. Seems like just the other day I hauled him to the emergency room as he'd used the air gun and ran a staple into his finger. Nobody my moon cat knows...neighbor further down and across the slough. Makes having a hip that hurts rather small potatoes....
Best get back to work...it might be just a wee bit cooler today. No word from my CA sister on the move back to OR...guess the computer is packed up! Think they are leaving in a day or two...
