Is there another way to get from San Fransisco to Los Angeles that does not include renting a car? We are flying in to SanFran and out from LA and they charge ridiculous fees to pick up in one place and drop off at another. We could probably buy a car for cheaper!

So, bus lines, trains, sekrit rental car companies that do not charge so much damn money? Any suggestions would be appreciated!
