the greatest things about october?
um. leinie's oktoberfest. starbucks' pumpkin spice latte. perkins' frosted pumpkin muffins. the leaves. and halloween.
i looooooooooove it.
anyways.
so having mowgli home has been awesome. can't wait til may when he's home for good!! but friday in appleton was awesome. for the most part. would have been more awesome if a certain person hadn't come along and been a fucking moron and put everyone in a bad mood. as i had predicted. but whatever. we hung at "the bar" mostly. lotsa dancing! headed back to the hotel around 1230-1ish and since we had a 24 hr pool we went swimming. honestly. 10 drunk people swimming, i was truly surprised that no one was rushed to the hospital or kicked out. after swimming we went back to the room and got pizza from munchies. haha. it was yummy.
saturday we went out in town. me, mike, jon, adam, mike's sis mai ka, and her bf vong went to vreekes. my parents and their friends also showed up.
was pretty much an excellent time.
tonight would have been our girls night. but due to mowgli being home, we decided to make it a co-ed thing. so melissa is making a shitload of tacos. jodie made taco dip (mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm), and i'm making brownies as soon as i get home from work.
i also think it's pretty fucking awesome that today, the jungle book came out on dvd.
so i'm gonna get that and bring it along.
p.s. i ordered my halloween costume yesterday.
