Some doors shut, some windows open.
The days wear on and I become more and more discontent with the C.N.A program. I run into philosophical issues, mostly. Why are we all working so hard to keep people who want to die, alive? People who are in pain, who are losing their dignity, who are truly done with this world. Yet, though chemical, mechanical, or surgical methods we agonizingly delay the inevitable and tell ourselves that it is the right thing to do.
Plus, the scrubs they make us wear are hideous.
Here you see two such types of scrub. I am modeling the “Country Cottage” Style, while Dominic prefers the “Hello across the world” design.
When I got home today I got a message from the hospital, asking me to interview for a information process position I applied for weeks ago. I really want this job, and if I am hired I am going to withdraw from the C.N.A program.
So, wish me luck at the interview tomorrow!
