Title: A tale of epic hair, horse chases, and loss.
Our scene opens on Dennee and Kahlan, racing across the land on horses, those fast things that are used for moving quickly, something which the characters seem to have forgotten later in the series.
The white dress can been seen, blowing in the wind, unaware of what is before it, only that danger is coming...
Kahlan makes her "scary" face, hoping to scare off anyone (or thing) in their path. The epic hair is not yet alarmed, and waits...silently.
Kahlan suddenly remembers that danger is coming from *behind* her, and swings around, alarming the white dress, and the epic hair which jumps straight up into the air!
Danger follows, all coughing from the over abundance of smoke machines living in the forest.
Dennee makes a face like she is going to eat any danger that gets close to her, while attacking them with spring loaded cleevage.
Close up on the horses, who can't figure out how they got stuck with such idiots.
Lead idiot makes faces, taunts them, and points insultingly, which generally doesn't work *too* well as a battle tactic.
The other soldier is deeply saddened by his commander's idiocy and pouts silently.
Kahlan is insulted by this sad attempt at intimidating them. The epic hair is insulted too.
Kahlan makes her angry face, showing him her teeth.
And then threatens to eat him.
The epic hair backs her up.
The soldier is incredibly joyful after missing her with his sword. He is, perhaps, brain damaged.
The epic hair is offended by his incongruent facial expressions and jumps into action.
He dies, his expression unconnected with reality to the end.
His horse is glad to be free of him. Dennee's hair tries to be as epic as Kahlan's, but does not quite succeed.
Tragically, they have one guy who knows how to use a weapon.
Dennee's semi-epic hair attempts to remove the arrow, but it is too late.
The epic hair is outraged and flies into a frenzy.
Kahlan races to where her sister has fallen, careful to not accidentally go aloft like a kite.
Dennee lies where her semi-epic hair has failed her, it's potential never fulfilled.
The epic hair mourns, and reaches toward her as if there were something it could do.
Close up: Sad epic hair.
Kahlan runs away, the epic hair having learned what true loss is.
The epic hair rests, gathering its strength for the road ahead.
