bleh
So I took the GRE today. I didn't do as well as I had hoped. The time made me nervous so I rushed through some parts I should have taken more time on. I feel best about the essays, but I don't get those scores back for a couple of weeks. It makes me question whether or not I want to do Grad school. sometime i think i would be better off taking on an internship and starting my own business one day. I will probably just end up taking that stupid test again though. to top it off, my car has decided to kill the engine whenever i turn on the air conditioning. after taking that sickening test and climbing into my car that had been baking in the 95 degree sunlight for 4 hours and not being able to turn on the air I got very nauseous.
oh well, at least i can quit worrying about the test for the time being and look foward to my trip. feelings of nervousness and excitement are starting to settle in. I've been looking up information on what to pack. two things that keep coming up: umbrella and battery alarm clock. pictures of Oxford are beautiful (even with their "Keep of the Lawn" signs). I hope I can keep posting while I am there.
on a better note, i went to dinner with Becki, Anna, and Susan last night. They all talked about their time spent in France, England, Japan, and Greece. Becki brought me some very neat stuff from Paris and she brought back some Pounds that she didn't use when she was in England. Hurrah! Anna brought back a cute little bowl and plate and a matching pink Japanese fan. It was fun catching up. We ran into Amber afterwards, which also made me very excited.
