mildy disturbing entry.
21. The Diving Comedy of Dante Alighieri: Inferno
moving right along through the booklist. however, i only let myself read these books when i work out in the morning... a treat to myself i guess. (though not all parts of all the books are a treat).
Dante disturbs me a little with his version of hell. lots of really grotesque images such as people boiling in black pitch while the demons ride by and grab at their skin with hooks and shove them back under if they come up from underneath the pitch.
on another strange note, on my walk to the gym this morning there was a sqirrel tail laying by the bushes near the student union (right by the grill). now this was odd for mayn reasons:
also, when coming back from the gym i was accosted by the maintenance guys with leave blowers and lawn mowers. one shot leaves at me and the other rode closely behind where i was walking. it was a very strange morning all together.

- there was no squirrel near by
- the stranded tail was near the grill where they serve food, close to the dumpster actually
- this was not bloody in any way which makes me thing it might be fake
- if it is fake, where in the hell did it come from?
- it reminds me of that water skiing squirrel they keep showing in those commercials
