and yet another jessica moment
the events of today are truly entertaining. we had this whole crew christmas party planned to kick off at 5:40. there was a lot of secrecy surrounding it and its location. and, unfortunately, i had planned to film part of my final project at 7:30. thinking that this would not be a big problem i went a long with it. after following rebecca down the interstate on the way to the undisclosed location, i was cut off by a giant 18 wheeler. we called and we told to get off on exit 2. one small problem there was no exit 2! and the next exit wasn't until Waskom, TEXAS! so after mine and susan's lengthy detour to another state, we turned around only to find a car coming the wrong way UP the EXIT ramp. after swerving for our lives we drove down an endless dark road and finally found our way to the bonfire. by this time it is 6:35. i only have 20 minutes to quickly roast my hotdog and chow down a s'more before turning around.
after driving the 30 minutes back, our filming gets delayed because the DPS officer on duty is camera shy. finally we get our stuff together and successfully film a mock break in to the registrar office while the DPS officer overly enjoys the power that we are giving her and locks leann up in cuffs. lots of fun. i can't wait to see how the project turns out!
now i am desperately trying to find a way to distract myself from my final Women's Lit paper. LAST FREAKING ONE! one more normal day of class and then the finals begin.
