One more day of work until I make my way down to New Orleans for a few days, then on to the beach in Destin for a whole glorious week of mindless reading and sunshine. And now that Ann, Bill and Claudette have finally realized how much I need this vacation and have dissipated or changed their path of tropical fury, things are looking up.
Also, Mark has started putting the hardwood on the stairs and they look beautiful. I'm so impressed with all his hard work! I think we'll be ready to start showing the house in September.
