stormy weather
i think three day weekends should be standard, its always better going back to work on tuesdays than on mondays.
they gave me an officemate at work. hes in highschool, so now i have to be very careful of when i choose my update times.
at any rate, i had a great weekend. everyone that went off to college came in for one day and stopped by on their way going somewhere else. it was good though for the short time it lasted. just picked up where we left off, like 3 years hadn't passed between us.
went to mudbug madness. the atmosphere was not too enjoyable, the company made up for it however. they have the whole ticket/food/drinks thing really screwed up so they can scam you.
got to spend some time with stevi, her new man of choice, althea, and joe at the apartment engagement party. i had a lot of fun sitting on the sidewalk, talking, and avoiding old lady footsteps.
yesterday i made my first pie. strawberry icebox pie. i brought it over to my parents for the memorial day bbq. it was demolished. i felt very proud of my cooking achievement, not a bite was left.
this weekend held 2 very loud storms that prevented me from achieving my minimum sleep requirement. i hear there will be another out of control storm raging again tonight. everyone take cover.
