Finshed Stardust already. :) What can I say? It was a quick, easy, and I must say delightful read, and I'm a speed-reader, soo. I really enjoyed it, although for some reason I liked the first half better than the second. But it was a delightfully quirky and piquantly dark fairy tale, mostly for adults but can be read to kids too. It won't become ( Read more... )

Neverwhere is more origonal than Stardust but much darker.

Loved both those books back when I read them... hard to say which would be my favorite. As beautyisme said, Neverwhere is more original, but Stardust was just so... delightful, as you said. There's also a pretty good BBC mini series of Neverwhere, btw.

Thanks. ^^ And I've just learned something new about "Neverwhere": it was originally a tv-series, and the book is based on that. Gaiman wrote the screenplay, and later expanded it into a book, as he was frustrated about the constraints of the television medium.
