So I watched this movie last night.
I just picked it up because I saw it was about the apocalypse. And you guys know how much I love Apocalypses (Apocalypsi?) and I wasn't in the mood for hardcore zombie fare. And it had Sarah Michelle Gellar in it who I always find watchable.
UNBEKNOWEST TO ME it is made by the same guy who did DONNIE DARKO.
ALSO IT HAS LIKE THE GREATEST SOUNDTRACK EVER????!11

It was like a combination of Mullholland Drive, Mad Max, and Total Recall... with The Rock, and midgets...also it is like an opus on 3rd wave feminism. It's awesome. If you like not knowing what's going on, and lots of weird characters, and zeppelins, you need to see it.
And here is our friend Justin Timberlake (who plays one of the central characters) singing.... The Killers!! What??
This is my favourite Killers song :)
The above sequence reminded me of this one from Across the Universe... with the naughty nurses and all.
And if you haven't seen Across the Universe you are insane and need to see it now. Even if Bono is like the antichrist or something.
This is my favourite bit and I never get sick of seeing it... I could watch it over and over. I have an unhealthy obsession with strawberries, I love paint (as you know) and war movies so... it's like my perfect film sequence.
Ok that is all for now... back to my happy tree friends marking spree of sunshine and cherubs.
