CFP and I are one again. The Coalfield has set me up with a Quark wizard and I am prepping for a couple stories. I'm not really excited about any of this, but work in general is bad news, non?
Friday night Jamie, Sarah, and I saw The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, which I definitely cried in, like a pussy. After that we went to Mosby's, where we became ludicrously hyper over cheesecake, which is always nice. This was followed by viewing of Eurotrip, another genius film.
Saturday marked Bret's return to the Southwest of VA! This occasion was celebrated with an America's Next Top Model-style challenge at the Bowling Alley. Pictures will soon be visible of our competition on Jamie's webshots:

After that, we did a requisite DQ trip followed by a requisite Wal-Mart trip followed by a rousing game of Encore a.k.a the most obscure board game my family owns OTHER than our journalism board game, Headlines. I'm pretty sure these games couldn't even be found on Ebay.
Today was a failed venture to Johnson City for new bras, but alas, the semi-annual sale is the 21st and is only currently occuring online and in catalogs. Still, Nosheen, Bret and I managed to abscond with sessy undawears, trendy friendship fruit keychains (! as though we were 15!), and pictures.
In other news, the webshots have finally been updated with 64 (OMG 64 pictures!) of summer thus far.

Any other news? hmmm...oh, Amber told me I'm a deviant morphologist, which is the technical name for my screwed up vernacular. I took a linguistic quiz and my speech is all fucked up. I'm equal parts Yankee and Dixie, with ebonics, foreign words, pop culture phrases, and improperly pluralized nouns preceded by the word "the" thrown in. In other words, no magazine will hire me. I can't talk good.
Newport News could be in the mix for the weekend of June 25. Thoughts?
