I'm going to a costume party tomorrow night and I need a costume idea that's fairly quick and easy and not slutty or cliche.

Keep in mind, my hair is longer than a cute bob now, so unless Harrisonburg is suddenly hit with an awesome wig store, I need ideas that are workable with shoulder-length hair.

hm... jackie O is always a good idea because you could pull her off well. i'm supposed to be thinking up a costume too and have no idea for the same reason, haha.

I had thought about that, but for some reason people don't recognize her unless you have the pink suit. Which is sad...but woefully true.

Hamburglar it is! I went to the party store and bought an "El Bandito" set, complete with black hat and bandit eye mask!

So far, can't find striped pants or a tie with hamburgers on it. But whatev.

i have three costumes
1)tobias from the "sweeney todd" revival. i even have a bad cardboard violin. and my friend ariel is being patti's lovett.
2)madonna from the "lucky star" video. almost the exact outfit. josh is being "hung up" madonna, leotard and all.
3)meg. i have a bad red wig and leopard peep-toe flats and i'll be drunk.

speaking of, the film fest is this week and i get to meet tommy lee jones and yes, i'll ask him about coal miner's daughter! Then again, i also threatened to ask liev schriber about making "scream 2 and 3" not his tony winning "glenn glary glenn ross"....

as for you? wear ALL your jewelry and all black and be coco channel...that's right.
