(no subject)
There is good news that I failed to mention in my last update.
I came very close to my goal for a straight-A year. I got:
Watercolors: B+
Willa Cather: A-
Art History: A
Web page writing: A-
Internship: A
and of course last semester I got some A's and A-'s. SOOOOOO
that brings my undergrad cumulative gpa to a 3.55. Just squeeked by to get cum laude status.
I think, in the end, my college career was eerily like my high school one. I got most of my B's and those two or three C's toward the beginning when I was taking classes I didn't like, and I ended up with almost all A's and only a few B's by the end. It's a shame those gen ed's exist, b/c without them, I'd probably be in magna cum laude territory.
Maybe if I ever go to grad school, I'll make straight A's. hehehehhehe.
for now, I'm checking on a different job at the DP and applying to some other papers in VA. I might have to regroup and go home for a little while, but I guess life could be worse than living off your parents for a couple summer months. I'm just uber stressed about paying off loans and stuff.
