jobs... please help
so right now i'm working at a preschool in west hollywood as an assitant teacher making $12/hr. i work mostly with kids 2-3, but also with kids up to like 5. i'm gonna be working 5 days a week from 8:30-1:30, which means i get $300/wk. and i'm planning on taking a sign language class and a child development class.
one of the mom's from the preschool sent me an e-mail about a job opportunity to be the assitant of a "mommy and me guru". her classes are in sherman oaks, i'd be working 9-4 M-Th and 9-3 on F. i'd start at $10/hr, but she said i would quickly work up to $12/hr... which means $340/wk and later $408/wk. this would also mean i would have to take a different child development class (one that end at 10, but is more interesting) and a math class. BUT i would get to work with babies, 3-18 months old.
i don't know what to do. i'd rather work with babies, but i just started the job at the preschool in october. plus a woman from the preschool was the one that told me about the job w/ mommy and me. plus i've never quit a job before in my life. plus the owner of the school told me she really didn't wanna hire someone that wouldn't stay at least until the end of the school year. i'd make more money at mommy and me, but only b/c i'd be working more hours. and i'd have to take late night classes. plus i think saying i work at a preschool sounds better than i work at a mommy and me class... BUT I DUNNO.
