It is just past dusk, and Liriel is surrounded by various ingredients and books, preparing her spells. She has chosen to be outside in a secluded part of the grounds for the task, having been feeling a bit too cooped up inside the mansion. She is welcome to be disturbed, of course, though she will be extremely miffed (mostly at her typist) that she missed a party, since she has not been to a proper one in ages upon ages.
