my butt is aching from cycling and i have a tanline in the shape of my tank, but it was awesome fun (: especially since we had my cousin amanda
ilmiocantante with us! cycling, bbq-ing at the insane hour of 12noon because my dad dicovered a grill that we had lying around our house and was determined to put some of his recipes to use - yakitori skeweres, prawns wrapped in bacon (which were daaaamn good). we brought a pint of ben and jerry's in a cooler, but by the time we finished cycling it'd all melted ): so we had chocolate fudge brownie milkshake/soup. hahaha. walking down to the water and attempting with my bro and cousin to skip stones (my cousin's good - and she just picked it up). playing mahjong on the groundsheet with our angmoh-fied mahjong tiles (you have to see it to know what i mean - it's good for noobs like me!)
and after that i went back to shower and then napped for like 20 minutes before i had to go work at dempsey; i was really zombified for the first few hours but after that it got better. i love the people who i worked with yesterday, we had so much fun!!! :D yin kwan, amanda and tiffanie (: we entertained ourselves by supporting a flavor of ice cream each; mine was vanilla since chubby hubby doesn't come in scoop bulks, only in pints, and we competed to promote our flavor to each customer who came. it was hilarious, each of us would show off our masking-tape arm bands which have our teams written on it - TEAM VANILLA/TEAM PHISH/TEAM NY/TEAM CHERRY and go like "you HAVE to try new york super fudge chunk!" "NO, VANILLA!" "cherry garcia is better!!!" "who needs those when you have phish food..." and some of the customers were like LOL if i support you do i get discount. XD
i'm glad i told the shift leader i can't work today - i'm really quite tired. zzzzzzz! time to just veg out at home for today, tomorrow it's back to the scoop shop (:
